CLEANING - CHECKING - PAINTING

Whatever your project is, these three steps apply to every
painting project:

Cleaning
Prepare the surface thoroughly by sanding it well and filling any holes with
filler. Clean the surface without using chemical cleaners; a simple soap
solution will suffice.

Checking
Check the conditions: will it stay dry today? Ensure that it is not colder than
15 degrees and not too humid. Consider the wind when painting outside.

Painting
Unsure about the colour or effect? Test a small area first and wait for the
result. If you're sure, get to work!
